Leslie Baker struck gold when she found a Barnacle Goose from the Wilson Pier, Niagara County on the 1st. After disappearing from this location, Willie D’anna relocated the bird in a nearby field. Joe Fell took this photo on the 2nd at the Daisy Barn Campground where the bird spent much of the midday on the 2nd.

Brad Carlson found this pair of Marbled Godwits along Hulbert Road, Wilson, NY on the morning of the 2nd. The birds entertained throughout the day and were likely grounded by the previous nights’ thunderstorms.
