Joel's Choice Shorebird Field Trip

Joel Strong lead a group of 21 of us throughout Niagara County looking for shorebirds at several stops. I think our best bird of the day was an Upland Sandpiper. We also saw several species of sandpipers, including: White-rumped, Pectoral, Least, Semipalmated, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, and some Semipalmated Plovers and Killdeer. It was a perfect weather day! Many thanks to Joel!
