This portrait of a Clay-colored Sparrow was taken by Josh Ketry on the 6th at Krull County Park in Niagara County. This is a known breeding location for several years now.

On the 19th, Dick Collins photographed this Snowy Egret at the north end of Heritage Boardwalk at Tifft Nature Preserve. It was an early morning discovery but the bird did not stay long unfortunately.

This Yellow-billed Cuckoo struck a home window in Colden, NY on the 20th. Dawn Nill, the homeowner, protected the bird until it was well enough to fly away.

On June 20, Kris and Mike Trippi photographes this 2nd year male Summer Tanager at their home in Rushford, NY. The photos didnt surface until late August when their friend and BOS member Alan Baczkiewicz was asked what the bird was when he was visiting them.
